The strap's 4-inch width, 36-inch length, and stated strength ratings are important specifications when identifying the correct replacement strap for your equipment.
When Should You Replace a Roll-Off Trailer Tie-Down Strap?
Regular inspection of roll-off container tie-down straps is an important part of maintaining your trailer's securement system.
Common signs that a tie-down strap may require replacement include:
-
Frayed, torn, or cut nylon webbing
-
Excessive abrasion or worn strap edges
-
Broken, loose, or deteriorated stitching
-
Heat or chemical damage
-
Visible stretching, distortion, or deterioration
-
Missing or illegible load identification markings, where required
Damaged straps should be removed from service and replaced with properly rated components that meet the equipment manufacturer's securement requirements.
